A leading global investment firm with over $100 billion in assets under management is seeking a VP/Principal-level professional to join its Asian distribution team. This role is focused on expanding the firm's reach across institutional and private capital channels in the region, with responsibility for managing key investor relationships and driving new capital flows across a diverse platform of alternative investment strategies.

Role Summary

This is a senior-level distribution role with a mandate to originate, grow, and deepen LP relationships across Asia. The individual will work closely with product, investment, and leadership teams to strategically position the firm's offerings and ensure alignment with investor needs. The role is ideal for a dynamic, commercially minded individual with a strong understanding of alternatives and a proven track record in capital distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead distribution efforts across Asia, targeting institutional investors, family offices, private banks, and other capital partners.
  • Proactively identify new investor opportunities and build long-term relationships to support fundraising across multiple strategies.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, delivering product updates, responding to inquiries, and managing ongoing relationship needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor marketing materials, presentations, and fund documentation to regional investor expectations.
  • Represent the firm at meetings, conferences, and industry events, articulating the value proposition across strategies.
  • Provide market intelligence and investor feedback to inform product positioning and regional strategy.
  • Contribute to the build-out of the Asia distribution platform, with potential leadership or mentorship responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

  • 6+ years of experience in capital distribution, institutional sales, or investor coverage within alternative investments.
  • Proven track record of fundraising across institutional and/or private wealth channels.
  • Strong understanding of private markets and alternative strategies.
  • Fluent in English; Madarin as an additional language preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially minded, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, lean team environment.
  • Excellent relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.
