About the role,
Support FP&A activities in Asia countries primarily Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Co-ordinate with shared service centre in China (Guangzhou), ensuring timely and accurate accounting transactions, reviewing overall financials for month-end closing, and monitoring AR and AP to maintain financial integrity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support month-end closing and accounting duties, including but not limited to AR, AP, inventory and intercompany transactions
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports (including regional scorecard review and business review)
- Analyze monthly results to determine drivers of performance
- Assist in preparing rolling latest forecast (LE) and annual budgeting process
- Business partner with cross-functional teams (shared service, supply chain, and commercial team) to provide financial insights to drive strategic decision making
- Prepare cashflow forecast for the entity
- Ensure proper internal control are in line with group policies
- Provide financial insights and ad hoc analysis to assist business decisions making
- Continuous seek opportunities to improve systems, business processes and reporting
- Support special projects, such as system migrations, reporting software enhancements to drive efficiency and improve financial reporting
Desired Skills and Experience
To make sure we are setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, BA or any related discipline
- At least 3 years of accounting experience in multinational FMCG companies
- Strong analytical skills and solid accounting knowledge
- Experience in NetSuite and/or AX is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications with advanced Excel skills
- Confident and articulate communicator and presenter
- Excellent communication skills in English, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
