Application Engineer - #1093405

Responsibilities:

The incumbent provides technical support in sales presentation, product demonstrations and delivery of professional services. Uses defined procedures to establish parameters for the design, execution, implementation, testing and support of Advantech products. Other major responsibilities are as follows:

• Provide efficient and effective pre & post-sales support on hardware and software applications

• Provide technical solutions including documentation of technical information related to customer project

• Prepare and conduct product presentations and demonstrations during seminars and exhibitions

• Perform systems compatibility testing, general technical reports and maintain service request records.

• Be technically creative to work around engineering challenges with rapid resolution of issues.

• Act as the technical interface between the Product/ R&D Engineers and the sales team.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Electronics & Computer Engineering

• Min. 1 to 2 years in Industrial Computing field.

• Knowledge on computer architecture, operating system, software applications, servers, networking, industrial communication, etc.

• Prior knowledge or hands-on experience on Industrial Computers, Embedded Computers, IoT applications and such, would have an added advantage.

• Self-motivated, analytical, team player and able to work independently

• Bilingual with, good communication and presentation skills

• ·Candidates with more experience may be considered for a more senior role.
