We are looking for a high-motivated and organized individual to join our technical support team, where your strategic leadership will drive service excellence and safety across residential, commercial, and industrial gas customers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Strategic LeadershipLead technical and support operations for gas infrastructure and customer support, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service excellence.
Drive policy formulation and implement best practices to maintain industry compliance and regulatory standards.
Guide operational managers to execute strategic initiatives while maintaining operational efficiency.
Mentor and lead a team of managers, overseeing multidisciplinary staff to ensure high-performance standards.
Support workforce planning, rostering, and resource allocation to meet service demands across customer segments.
Drive career development initiatives, ensuring training and certifications align with industry standards.
Provide strategic oversight for technical troubleshooting and on-site support for gas installations, meters, regulators, and appliances, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with customer service teams to integrate feedback and drive service improvements.
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance service workflows, fault reporting, and issue resolution.
Ensure that SOPs, safety protocols, and operational procedures reflect industry best practices and are regularly updated.
Ensure compliance with internal safety standards, gas regulations, and licensing conditions.
Provide oversight for incident investigations, safety audits, and risk assessments, collaborating with managers to implement corrective actions.
Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders, delivering strategic updates and performance reports to senior management.
Assist in project execution and preparation of reports on department performance, issue trends, and resource needs.
Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Oversee inventory levels of tools, spare parts, and technical equipment to maintain uninterrupted service delivery.
Recommend and guide the adoption of new tools, technologies, or systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What we are looking for:
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
7–10 years of experience in technical operations, field support, or related roles in gas, utilities, or energy.
At least 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership capacity.
In-depth knowledge of gas distribution systems and customer installation support.
Proven experience in strategy, leadership, and cross-team coordination.
Excellent organizational, communication and team development abilities.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and regulatory compliance standards is a plus.
The successful candidate will be based at 26 Senoko Avenue. Company shuttle bus pick-up/drop-off point at Sembawang MRT station.
