Logistics Coordinator - #1093014

Helm Specialist Recruitment is exclusively collaborating with a logistics company to recruit a Logistics Coordinator in Singapore. Reporting to the Operations or Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily shipping operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end logistics process—ideally from POL (Port of Loading) to POD (Port of Discharge)—including applying for the necessary customs permits, attending site meetings, surveys, and loadouts, and liaising with contractors, agents, and overseas offices. You will also be responsible for preparing quotations for clients, relaying client requests to managers, and negotiating competitive rates with suppliers.

The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience in logistics and freight forwarding across sea, land, and air transport. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential due to frequent interactions with our Chinese yard. A strong understanding of Singapore Customs procedures, along with excellent communication and analytical skills, is also required.
