Position Overview
We are looking for a Onboarding & KYC Intern to join our Operation Team for a 3 to 6 months internship program. The Onboarding and KYC role performs a wide variety of onboarding life cycle activities including collecting of onboarding documents, performing KYC screenings and account opening.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Perform Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks on prospective customers at onboarding such as KYC screening and perform due diligence according to the client due diligence requirements.
- Work as part of the Onboarding Team to support client onboarding for account opening.
- Review the information and documents provided by customers, ensure that all information and documents collected are good to satisfy regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the Compliance team to resolve high risk clients EDD requests.
- Update and ongoing maintenance of customer data ensuring documentation is accurate and valid.
- Preparation of data to track completion progress and MI reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or any related field.
- Knowledge in KYC documentation of different client types
- Well verse in at least HK and SG regulation and requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to details and highly organized.
- Self-driven, willing to learn and with positive attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Prior coursework or exposure to financial products, knowledge of digital assets is a plus.
