Clinical Research Coordinator (General Surgery) - #1092330

1.Patient recruitment

• Screen research participants for eligibility according to research protocol
• Explain protocol to research participants, take informed consent
• Perform research procedures, e.g. questionnaires, interviews, or other procedures as specified in the research protocol
• Handle patient reimbursement

2. Data and sample management

• Draw, centrifuge blood specimens and send specimens to laboratory or store specimens in accordance with requirement of research protocol
• Collect data from electronic medical records or patients
• Data entry
• Maintain site file

3. Project management

• Coordinate meetings and collaboration with industry partners/ collaborators
• Prepare ethics application, study status reports, adverse events reporting, amendments, etc.
• Support grant application, reports, variation request, procurement, etc.
• Review/ coordinate collaboration agreement
• Coordinate study workflow or logistics

4. Mentor and guide junior research staff/ interns

5. Participate in projects and activities as assigned by the PI

Requirements

• Degree in health sciences, nursing, pharmacy, clinical research or related field
