Position Summary:


The Global Logistics Director oversees international logistics strategy, developing efficient transport solutions whilst monitoring end-to-end operations and resolving contingencies. Responsibilities include optimising supplier performance and cost structures, integrating cross-border resources (including self-managed warehouses), and coordinating internal/external teams to ensure service delivery. The role requires precise management of transport expenditure, compliance with customs regulations, and dynamic adaptation to policy changes to drive cost optimisation and operational efficiency across global logistics networks.


What we can expect from you:


  • International logistics strategy planning and implementation


(1) Responsible for the development and optimization of the company's international logistics strategy, to ensure the efficient implementation of logistics solutions.


(2) Real-time monitoring of the logistics process, rapid response to emergencies in the import and export process and proper handling to ensure that the goods are delivered safely and on time.


(3) Regularly evaluate logistics service providers, freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure service quality and efficiency, and make adjustments according to the evaluation results.


  • Freight inquiry comparison and cost control


(1) Responsible for international orders of freight inquiry comparison, to ensure that the customer to provide high-quality, cost-effective logistics services.


(2) In-depth analysis of logistics cost structure, looking for cost savings potential, and promote the implementation of relevant measures.


  • Cross-sectoral communication and collaboration


(1) Maintain close communication with the overseas marketing team, customers and freight forwarders to ensure that logistics needs are accurately understood and met.


(2) Coordinate internal resources to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.


  • Cross-border logistics management and optimisation


(1) Deeply understand all aspects of cross-border logistics, including self-built warehouses and other logistics management workflow, to ensure the standardisation and efficiency of logistics operations.


(2) Explore and introduce advanced logistics technology and solutions to continuously improve the level and efficiency of logistics management.


  • Cost management and optimisation


(1) Responsible for the monthly import and export transport expenses verification and reimbursement process to ensure the accuracy and compliance of the expenses.


(2) Monitor cross-border logistics-related expenses, analyse the expense structure, and propose and implement expense optimisation measures.


  • Compliance management and policy response


(1) Familiar with customs, inspection and quarantine and other related policies and regulations to ensure compliance of the company's logistics operations.


(2) Understand and interpret the changes of customs policy in a timely manner, pre-adjustment and response to the company's products of international logistics shipping programme to ensure the smooth progress of logistics operations.


A successful candidate is likely to have:


  • full-time undergraduate degree or above, majoring in logistics management, international logistics, international trade and other related majors.


  • import and export of large and medium-sized enterprises more than 8 years of work experience, more than 3 years of work experience in the same position.


  • Strong logical thinking ability and communication and expression ability, Business fluency in English and Mandarin.


  • International logistics co-operation resources and channels are preferred.
