We are working with a dynamic and fast-growing private equity investment firm headquartered in Singapore, with a strong mandate to identify and execute strategic investment opportunities across Southeast Asia and the broader Asia Pacific region. The firm is sector-agnostic, highly entrepreneurial, and operates with a lean, hands-on team that takes transactions from origination to exit.

As part of their growth plans, the firm is looking to appoint a Vice President / Executive Director to join their investment team. This is a newly created headcount with a high level of visibility and direct involvement in deal sourcing, due diligence, execution, and portfolio value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end investment lifecycle, from origination to execution and portfolio monitoring.
• Build and maintain a strong network of deal sources across Southeast Asia and APAC.
• Conduct deep-dive industry and company analysis, including financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence.
• Drive deal structuring, documentation, and investment committee materials.
• Work closely with portfolio companies on value creation initiatives and exit planning.
• Represent the firm professionally in deal negotiations, board discussions, and with strategic partners.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate M&A.
• Strong deal execution track record, ideally across multiple sectors and jurisdictions within APAC.
• Proven ability to originate and lead deals independently.
• Prior exposure to Southeast Asia markets is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in Mandarin is highly advantageous due to the regional exposure and stakeholder base.
• High level of initiative, commercial judgment, and hands-on execution ability.
• Comfortable working in a lean, entrepreneurial environment with a strong team ethic.
