As we accelerate our robotics innovation agenda, we're on the lookout for a strategic thought leader to join us as AVP, Strategy and Planning. This high-impact role will shape and drive mission-critical initiatives across technology investments, strategic partnerships, and M&A—fueling the next generation of intelligent robotic systems.
Sitting at the intersection of technology and business, this role requires a rare blend of strategic foresight, analytical acumen, and technical fluency to unlock bold opportunities across robotics, AI, and frontier tech.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and market positioning in alignment with the organization's long-term goals.
- Lead the development of business plans and forecasts by gathering relevant market insights, analyzing data trends, and anticipating future opportunities and challenges.
- Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and cross-functional teams to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and ensure alignment across the organization.
- Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and business opportunities. Use this information to make data-driven decisions and refine strategic approaches.
- Act as a liaison between senior leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of strategic goals, initiatives, and performance metrics.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and success.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation, ensuring that financial resources are optimally deployed to achieve business goals.
- Implement performance tracking mechanisms, KPIs, and business metrics to monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and adjust course as necessary.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Management, or equivalent experience.
- At least 10-12 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or consulting, with a focus on leadership and organizational growth.
- Strong experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects with significant organizational impact.
- In-depth knowledge of business operations, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Proven ability to analyze and synthesize market data, developing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, capable of managing ambiguity and complexity in decision-making.
- Experience in driving change and continuous improvement within organizations.
- Familiarity with market research, competitive analysis, and industry best practices.
