Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collaborate with the cross functional team (ERP Change Lead, Finance Controller and Shipping team) to define reporting and visualization requirements
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and KPIs, starting with Oracle NetSuite as the starting point
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all modules (Sales, Design, Operations, Logistics and Finance)
- Perform root cause analysis of data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
2. Data Engineering & Integration:
- Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from various sources for real-time visibility, coordination and decision-making across operations.
- Optimize data models to support efficient reporting and analysis
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from Microsoft 365, HR systems and other business applications such as SolidWorks and Manufacturing Execution System.
- Automate data cleansing and validation processes to improve overall data quality
3. Data Entry & Management:
- Enter, update and maintain accurate data in Oracle NetSuite, ensuring information is current and reliable
- Monitor data entry processes to prevent errors and maintain data integrity
- Collaborate with relevant departments to verify and validate data inputs
4. Data Governance & Quality
- Establish data standards, governance frameworks and best practices for data management
- Identify data quality issues and implement solutions to enhance data reliability
- Support audits and compliance activities by providing accurate data sets and reports
Job and Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and engineering roles, preferably in manufacturing or finance
- Hands-on experience with Oracle products, particularly in financial data visualization and reporting
- Strong background in SQL, data modeling and ETL processes
- Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. NetSuite Analytics and PowerBI) is a plus
- Knowledge of ERP data structures, especially in financial modules
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SQL, Excel (advanced), RPA and scripting languages (Python, R, etc)
- Proficient with APIs, data integration tools and framework (Apache Spark, Airflow, Presto etc) and cloud data platforms (specifically AWS, Azure, Databricks and Snowflake)
- Proficient in DevOps and Data Infrastructure such as Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic and Kibana
- Understanding financial processes and accounting principles is highly desirable
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrate the ability to solve problems from a technical standpoint
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities; demonstrate ability to communicate effectively across all domains (finance, design, manufacturing, IT and supply chain)
- Detailed-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
