Roles & Responsibilities

We are reaching out to highly eligible candidates who could aptly fulfil the role of a Retail Planner whom thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong proficiency in excel, equipped with a strong business acumen and is instrumental in optimizing sales, forecasting inventory needs on top of identifying opportunities to maximize growth.

Key Result Areas

• Own and drive pre-season merchandise financial plans, open to buy, flow planning, in-season forecast and in season management including promotional/markdown activity
• Run rolling forecast with the assumption of sales split, markdown and sell-thru assumption to create seasonal open to buy plans in multi time frames
• Develop the seasonal product flow plan in collaboration with the Merchandising and Buying function
• Analyze store plan and provide feedback to the marketplace team during the monthly/seasonal/yearly planning process
• Identify weekly MTG YTG forecast/risks & opportunities with the marketplace team
• Review sales trends and forecast the ending inventory, detect any potential risk and identify opportunities and drive the action to mitigate the risks involved
• Consistently monitor the business through analytics and execute action to achieve the key performance metrics
• Grasp and facilitate the key connectivity and interaction required for all business process steps

Competency Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Business or Commerce
• Ideally 2 years’ relevant experience in the capacity of a Retail Planner or Demand Planner. Fresh graduates with relevant academic background and or internship experience and skills are warmly welcomed to apply.
• Good understanding of retail mathematics and Open to Buy
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret multiple data points across numerous channels and market segments
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
• Entrepreneurship – an ability to make sound decisions and take calculated risks
• Strong organization and planning skills; ability to deliver results committed to a process and timeline
• Ability to convert data and analytics into information to inform and influence decision-making
• Strong teamwork and collaboration among cross functional teams
• Ability to interact and communicate with all seniority levels of employees, both senior and junior
