Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in traditional accounting practices as well as a strong understanding of cryptocurrency transactions and blockchain technology. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and supporting our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ledger Management: Manage general ledger accounting and ensure proper reconciliation of all accounts.
• Crypto Transactions: Record and reconcile cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements, including tax reporting for cryptocurrency transactions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure financial alignment and support business initiatives.
• Require to work in office for 5 days.
• Able to perform rotational shift once every 3 weeks. Additional incentive will be provided on weekends.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in the cryptocurrency or fintech industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and familiarity with cryptocurrency accounting tools. Strong Excel skills are required.
• Knowledge: Understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency market dynamics. Knowledge of relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex financial information clearly in English and Chinese.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
