Director or Engineering Projects (APAC) - #1092083

The Hunter Shore Group is delighted to be retained to appoint a Director of Engineering (APAC) for an international food manufacturer with an excess of 60 manufacturing facilities across the globe. This newly created opportunity will report directly into the VP of Global Engineering and oversee a number of high value complex projects across the region. These will range in value up to 300,000 SGD.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Leading a team of 8 direct reports alongside the indirect management of all plant engineering teams across the region.
• Building and mobilizing strategic project teams across the globe.
• Leading investment into brown and green field site development programs.
• Managing all capex investments from start to finish.
• Designing, communicating and implementing an operational plan for initiating complex and multiple projects; find solutions for operational problems, minimize delays.

To be successful in this position you will:

• Possess a Masters degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical) or the equivalent through experience.
• Possess extensive team management experience in an engineering environment.
• Have a proven track record within the food, cosmetics, chemical or CPG industries.
• Have a solid expertise of leading green and/ or brownfield manufacturing projects.
• Have a strong command of business English.
