Job Overview:

ASMPT is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, demand and supply planning, and strategic business operations. The intern will work directly under the guidance of the Senior Director of Central Planning and will play a critical role in supporting our data analytics initiatives and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analytics Support: Assist in analyzing demand and supply data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will drive business decisions.
• Data Conversion: Explore and utilize data analytics tools to convert raw data into meaningful insights using Power BI.
• Report Preparation: Help prepare comprehensive management reports for executive meetings, ensuring accuracy and clarity of data presented.
• Strategic Exposure: Gain exposure to strategic planning processes and contribute to the development of strategies that optimize demand and supply alignment.
• Tool Exploration: Explore and learn various data analytic tools and technologies to enhance data processing and visualization capabilities.
• Industry Learning: Learn about industry S&OP processes and business scenarios to better understand the context and impact of data analytics in business decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools. Knowledge of SQL and other data analytics tools is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present data and insights.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and report preparation.
• Learning Attitude: Eagerness to learn and explore new data analytic tools and methodologies.
