How Will You Be Contributing to Our Success?
The Production Technician ensures safe and continuous Total Gas Management services for our clients in the semiconductor industry. You will need to operate on-site plants, troubleshoot operational issues, and adhere to Air Liquide's management system. You'll contribute to the startup and commissioning of a new integrated gas center, including cryogenic air separation and SMR plants.
- Execute checks and testing for assigned systems in accordance with commissioning test procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during commissioning processes.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to procedures, complying with legal regulations, and following the Air Liquide Industrial Management System.
- Manage day-to-day operational activities based on process specifications, quality protocols, and operating procedures.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance and oversee equipment start-up, shutdown, and plant turnaround activities.
- Serve as an Emergency Response Team (ERT) member.
- Coordinate to ensure the Gas Yard is adequately staffed with operations technicians for each shift.
- Lead assigned areas/scopes during plant shutdown maintenance to ensure a smooth and accident-free turnaround.
- Monitor, analyze, and report early signs of unit performance deterioration or abnormalities based on predefined KPIs set by the operations engineer.
- Assist operations engineer in implementing process improvements, troubleshooting, projects, data collection, etc.
Are you a MATCH?
- Diploma in related engineering or Higher National ITE Certificate or equivalent.
- Preferably possess a minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment, particularly with hazardous materials, with a preference for semiconductor, chemical, or industrial gas experience.
- Possessing experience with the DCS system is a plus.
- General knowledge of engineering disciplines, operation & maintenance
- Organized with basic computer skills.
- Ability to work a 12 hour shift.
