You will be part of the Leasing (Retail) team based in Singapore. You will be responsible for formulating and executing leasing strategies for properties within the retail assets. Highly sensitive to what is happening in the retail market, you will be able to identify market trends and capitalise on opportunities to secure new tenancies.
This position calls for a highly-energetic, driven professional with a diverse industry network. You are analytical, have good communication and collaboration skills and have experience in leasing.
Job Description:
• Responsible for leasing retail spaces
• Handle lease negotiations for new leases and renewals as assigned
• Strategize and implement the tenancy mix
• Source and secure suitable tenants that fit into the desired tenant mix at the malls
• Handle leasing enquiries and make necessary recommendation of retail spaces to prospects
• Work closely with asset managers to achieve optimum mall occupancy and revenue
• To constantly strengthen and refresh trade mix with new and exciting retail concepts
• Prepare tenant sales analysis, annual budget and periodic forecasting reports
• Conduct market research to keep abreast of retail market and trend
• Establish strong network with retailers and tenants
Requirements:
• Due to regulatory requirements, this role requires a valid CEA license
• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing and Estate Management or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in similar capacity in the retail industry
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Possess good network of tenants and contacts
• Sound understanding of the real estate and retail industries
• Familiarity with the luxury segment will be an advantage
• Exhibits positive disposition, resourcefulness and a team player
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and work under pressure with tight deadlines and have an eye for details
• Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong report writing and presentation skills
