Senior System Analyst - #1090848

This position is responsible for planning and managing the design, development, release, and maintenance of business systems to support our organization's business needs. 

Responsibilities

• Assisting in technical feasibility studies, evaluating and analyzing user requirements, and recommending solutions.
• Preparing functional and technical specifications, as well as system user guides.
• Performing system development, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation/deployment.
• Supporting and maintaining existing systems/business applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
• Analyzing user requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Encoding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs based on technical specifications.
• Participating in relevant areas of the Systems Development Life Cycle and project management cycle.
• Maintaining and supporting system/business applications.
• Maintain and support system/business application. 
• Performing any additional assignments as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Business Computing, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in software development, programming, system implementation, and application enhancement.
• Proficient in SQL databases and programming languages such as Visual Basic, Power Builder, VB.net, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong determination, proactive, and able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and stakeholder management.
• A good team player.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems. Familiarity with Blue Yonder is a plus.
