Job Info:

• Salary: Basic up to $4000 + AWS + VB
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)
• Location: Woodlands North MRT

Job Scope:

• Design, test, troubleshoot, and commission company products, including jigs, fixtures, and both semi-automatic and fully automatic custom machines
• Participate in customer meetings to discuss project requirements and proposals for new initiatives
• Conduct research and develop innovative ideas to improve the company’s performance and competitiveness in industrial automation
• Assist in or manage the procurement of required materials and equipment to support the execution of these tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum ITE, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least two years of experience in customized automation machine design
• Experience in customized semi-conductor, connector, or machine design is preferred
• Knowledge of Solidworks is preferred; familiarity with Pro-E and Inventor is an added advantage
• Strong intuition for mechanical movement, function, and performance. Good understanding of 2D and 3D objects
• Strong understanding of machining processes
• Intrinsic desire and passion for designing high-performance machines
• Able to communicate technical concepts well in English
• Able to work effectively in a relatively stressful environment
