The role will report to the Head of Singapore Enterprise & Digital Business (SEDB). He/She will be responsible for driving operational excellence within the sales function. This individual ensures the smooth execution and coordination of sales processes, accurate forecasting of leads, pipelines & orders, and efficient resource allocation to achieve the group revenue and growth targets.
Be Part of Our Success
- Screen, compile, segment, and analysis Gebiz or other tender platforms for opportunities and recommend business focus
- Working knowledge of how to conduct market research to support creation of business plans
- Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Define and track key sales performance indicators (KPIs).
- Produce and analyze regular sales performance reports for leadership.
- Provide actionable insights to improve sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to create accurate sales forecasts.
- Monitor pipeline health and provide recommendations to address gaps.
- Coordinating and perform secretariate duties for internal sales, business development, management of cadences, external customers and vendor engagements/meetings
- Sales Process Optimization:
- Develop, refine, and document sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement tools and strategies to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- Developing and maintaining proper filing/archiving systems to maintain sales records, submitted proposals, costing information, template, vendor list, bid templates and solutions templates.
- Prepare & help provide quotations to customers:
- Communicate with customer on the requirement, understand their procurement process to ensure smooth sales process.
- Input and update sales opportunity via Salesforce.
- Engage vendors/suppliers for quotations.
- Prepare the costing sheet & actual quotation for management approval prior to submission.
- Support the sales team during bid process:
- Download or gather the tender document from portal.
- Prepare submission template for bid team to use.
- Gather information to be included into the tender submission.
- Engage vendors/suppliers for quotations.
- Assist in tender submission into the portal / tender box.
- Assist & help resolves customer queries:
- Communicate with customer to define requirement.
- Coordinate technology sharing session with customer to generate new sales lead.
- Good organization skills & the ability to multitask is a plus point.
- Support Head, SEDB on administrative matters.
Qualities We Value
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
- At least 5 years of sales support experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as salesforce.com.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication, sales, and customer service skills
- The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
- Working location is in Jurong East / Ang Mo Kio
