Engine Shop Technician (Build, Strip and Balancing) - #1090735

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform disassembly, balancing and assembly of turboprop engine module parts in accordance with Engine Manual
• Ensure correct use of approved tools, equipment for MRO work
• Prepare engine, modules and accessories for shipment
• Ensure that all overhaul and repair activities are carried out in accordance with engine manuals, approved technical data, regulatory requirements and procedures
• Read updates on maintenance manuals, service bulletins, other specifications and regulatory requirements to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components
• Support other workshop duties during lean periods
• Ensure that all work are carried out meets quality requirements as per respective engine manual
• Be responsible for care and cleanliness of equipment and work station
• Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
• Model behaviors consistent with good quality, health and safety and environmental management

What it takes

• GCE “N” or “O” Level / Nitec/ Higher Nitec / Diploma from a Technical discipline, Aerospace Engineering discipline

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in engine workshop practices, MRO activities gas turbine engine components

• Ability to read, understand approved technical data in English

• Basic understanding of relevant air worthiness, regulatory agencies requirement

• Basic use of hand and measurement tools.
