Warehouse Assistant (6 months contract, up to $3000) - #1090572

• 5 days work week, 8am to 530pm (Monday to Thursday)

• Salary: up to $3,000

Summary:
• The position is responsible for all physical and documentary processes within the location to ensure a correct and proper inventory and a seamless flow of goods. Additional logistic services and assistance for other teams, locations, and special projects can be requested.

Reporting:
• The position reports into the local and regional logistic line, linked to the global logistic team within SCM.

Qualifications and key competencies:
• No formal qualification is needed.
• Working experience in warehouses is a must.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Intrinsic motivation to continuously improve.

• Adaptability and flexibility

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inbound: Arranging Inbound transport, including forwarder POs and bookings, Goods Receipt, unpacking, quality assurance, markings, disassembly, put away.
• Outbound: Picking, packing, marking, transport documentation, customs, selecting and booking a forwarder, handover to forwarder.
• Adhering to all laws and regulations, including customs and export control. Maintaining a system as per regulations for data and document storage.
• Logistical Services: Kit building/Assembly, preparation of service kits as per requirement. 
• Documentary and inventory tasks: Optimizing storage for ideal turnaround, inventory counts as per local requirements (Cycle, specific date) including all corrections and working with auditors, all necessary bookings in ERP system to handle parts and maintain master data.
• Tracking, tracing, and solving issues case by case.
• Facilitating audits, internal and external visits, working with authorities as required.
• Additional tasks as per requirements: Assisting local spares / service and technical teams whenever required, working in projects, gathering and providing data, working on and implementing new processes.
