Job Description:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and company goals;
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and awarding of contracts;
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand materials and service requirements;
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, contract terms, and company policies;
- Maintain and manage supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery;
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements;
- Prepare and present procurements reports, budgets, and forecast to senior management;
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to procurement, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and contractual disputes;
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payments and accurate financial reporting;
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development;
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering or related fields;
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in procurement of main contractor company, preferably in infrastructure projects;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem solving abilities, as well as keen interest and motivation in a high growth and entrepreneur environment;
- A high level of integrity, dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation;
- Strong contract modelling and MS office software skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
