The Software Engineer will focus on system design, integration, and testing, ensuring seamless functionality and performance. The role involves software configuration, troubleshooting, and contributing to technical documentation. The engineer will also support on-site system trials and training, with the possibility of working directly with the customer for an extended period.

Be Part of Our Success

• Involved in the System design and development activities for the Customer.
• Involved in the subsystem assembly, installation, calibration and testing of the System leading to delivery to the Customer.
• Involved in the System software configuration and subsequent integration and testing with the hardware.
• Involved in the System integration onto a mobile platform and supporting the System performance testing, road trials and final On-Site Acceptance Testing to the Customer. 
• Conduct the System software training to the Users, where applicable.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation such as software specifications, test plans and procedures, Software operation manuals.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in software development and testing. Knowledge of system software testing methodologies e.g. regression testing will be an advantage.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C or C++. 
• Familiarity with network & communication protocols e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, serial communication etc, will be an advantage.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Some of the work may be done outdoors and at Customer site. Trials and testing may occur after office hours or on weekends where needed.
• Willing to be attached to the Customer’s premises for at least 24 months.
