QA Engineer /Testing Engineer (Marine / Industrial Field)

Working hours: 8:15 AM - 5:45 PM, 5 days a week.

Work onboard vessels with occasional overseas travel. Travel allowance provided.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming and outgoing parts based on established procedures and specifications.
• Test and commission switchboards on vessels/sites, addressing warranty claims and quality complaints.
• Perform routine tests and checks on switchboards in the workshop.
• Conduct official tests, including those with surveyors, consultants, and customers.
• Maintain quality records and data.
• Report quality issues to the QA Manager and relevant production staff.
• Ensure non-conforming products are separated from good ones.
• Reject parts if they don’t meet standards.
• Release conforming parts to stores for customer delivery.
• Assist the Manager with quality objectives and responsibilities.
• Maintain cleanliness in the QA Department.
• Use calibrated instruments for inspections.
• Recommend and verify solutions to detected issues.
• Control the delivery of non-conforming products until resolved.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
• Adhere to Quality Management System procedures.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of QA experience in marine/industrial fields; experience with switchboard/panel testing is a plus.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• ITE qualification with relevant experience is acceptable.
