About the Role
McConnell Dowell is looking for a Senior Project Engineers (Stations) to lead architectural and structural execution for our major infrastructure project in Singapore. Key Responsibilities

• Lead Site Execution: Oversee the execution of architectural and structural works at station sites, ensuring seamless coordination with construction teams.
• Project Planning & Coordination: Develop work methodologies, construction procedures, and ensure alignment with project timelines and milestones.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all station works adhere to design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory approvals.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, manage subcontractors, and ensure timely completion of works within budget.
• Problem-Solving & Technical Coordination: Work closely with consultants, designers, and project stakeholders to resolve design and site challenges efficiently.
• Shop Drawings & Documentation: Oversee preparation, review, and submission of shop drawings to align with project requirements.
• Procurement & Logistics: Manage procurement schedules, coordinate equipment mobilization, and ensure timely availability of materials for construction.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior engineers and site teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Educational Background: Recognized degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in architectural and structural works for MRT stations, LTA projects, or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong Project Execution Skills: Proven experience in managing station works, finishes, waterproofing, and fit-out activities.
• Technical & Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and liaise with consultants for resolution.
• Leadership & Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Resilience & Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, six-day workweek environment, managing high-stakes infrastructure challenges.
