We are hiring for our client in the Education Industry who is looking for a passionate Technical Support Officer (Labs) to join their growing team. 

Contract Position

Requirement:

• Diploma in Biomedical Science/Biotechnology/Medical Biotechnology/Biological Sciences
• Equipped with knowledge in medical laboratory technology
• Fresh graduate or one year as laboratory technician experience
• Willingness to work in a flexible manner is essential

Job scopes:

• Provide technical support for laboratory classes, workshops, and events.
• Assist academic staff in supervising students/participants during activities.
• Ensure equipment and materials are prepared and functional before sessions.
• Assist lecturers with demonstrations and conduct trial runs for practical classes.
• Handle administrative tasks, procurement, and receiving of lab items.
• Assist in conducting annual stock take of assets.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
