Project Engineer - #1090418

Responsible for coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects. Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned engineering work; monitors work for compliance and ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants.

• Involvement in the NPI team to launch a new product into the company manufacturing line.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
• Interpreting clients' requirements, identifying and addressing design parameters and engineering problems and ensuring solutions are implemented.
• Participate in customer/contractor meetings and resolving customer/engineering and management project issues.
• To conduct project procurement and vendor management
• Closely monitoring projects from kick-off stage till pre-mass production.
• Communicate with internal and external parties for project status update and support needed
• To generate and manage engineering documents, drawings and specifications from vendors/customers;
• To provide engineering support to project team and customers
• Coordinate multiple projects concurrently
• Ensure complete project documentations before handover to production
• All other duties as assigned.

Working Experiences

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in project management.
• Experience in manufacturing process will be advantageous.

Education Requirement and Traits

• Diploma or Degree in engineering field.
• Strong organisational attributes as well as good team-working skills.
