Estimation Engineer - #1090413

Job Responsibilities

• In charge of moving a project along from its initial tender to the final completion
• Coordinate and collaborate with the commercial team to resolve contractual and commercial issues
• Ensure that the tender proposal submitted complies with specifications, client’s requirements, terms and conditions stated in the contract
• Bid / tender on new projects and negotiate contract terms
• Source and oversee subcontractors, evaluate quotations and award contract to selected subcontractors
• Attend tender briefing, clarification and tender interview
• Submit and prepare pre-qualification documents for new client / tender
• Leads the team of project quantity surveyors and ensure timely progress claiming of all ongoing projects
• Provide monthly cost report to management for all ongoing projects
• Support project team on contractual matters and preparation of commercial letters
• Keep records of all additional works / variation order claimable to client and support project teams in preparing the necessary documents in claiming variation orders

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry
• Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
