Assistant Engineer (Radio Comms) - Entry level - #1090333

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Team Lead/ Service Delivery Manager to fulfil contractual KPI.
• Assist Team Lead/ Service Delivery Manager to deliver contract deliverables within budget.
• Able to operate and thrive in a dynamic work environment where you are required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• To perform routine Preventive Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures.
• To carry out Corrective Maintenance in accordance with the maintenance instructions / procedures.
• Liaison with procurement and vendors.
• Perform after-office hour standby for fault activation.
• Arrange and attend monthly meetings with customers.
• Provide engineering services and support to facilitate equipment adequacy, obsolescence, configuration and design.
• Provide or recommend technical solutions to mitigate RF communication systems/equipment failures.
• Frequent travelling and working at customer premises.
• Occasional backfill for Integrated Work Force (IWF) at customer premises.

Requirements:

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Entry levels are welcome but preferably with 2-3-year experience in related Engineering.
• Positive work ethics and team player.
• Preferably with some knowledge in Data Analytics (e.g. failure trending/patterns).
• Preferably with experience in System-Level Maintenance in the following disciplines: (Radio Communications, basic networking skills, computer/servers, embedded systems and/or UPS). Other Engineering-related experience maybe considered.
• Evident in written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Words, Power-point & Excel).
• Must possess with a Class 3 Driving License.
