JOB OVERVIEW

The Calibration Lab Technician is responsible for performing calibration and maintenance of pressure and temperature measuring instruments in compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role ensures accuracy, reliability, and traceability of equipment used in industrial and scientific applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform calibration of pressure gauges, transducers, thermometers, thermocouples, thermohygrometer and other related instruments in laboratory or client site as required.
• Ensure all calibrations are conducted in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Conduct routine testing and quality checks on lab equipment.
• Prepare detailed calibration certificates and reports in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and ensure traceability to national or international standards.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of calibration equipment and the lab environment.
• Troubleshoot, repair and adjust instruments as necessary to meet calibration specifications.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with all relevant quality management systems.
• Stay updated on industry standards and methodologies related to calibration.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and other team members to meet customer requirements.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Proficiency in handling precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of calibration software and tools is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Singaporean only.
