We are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and inspire a team focused on growth, innovation, and success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead & Inspire: Guide and mentor a team of account developers to meet and exceed annual and monthly sales targets while ensuring overall profitability.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute business and sales plans aimed at driving growth in key market segments.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with Trade Marketing and Brand Marketing to align sales goals with company strategies, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the competition by gathering valuable insights on competitors and providing actionable market data to the management team.
  • Stock & Logistics: Work closely with the Supply Chain team to forecast stock needs, ensuring product availability, especially during peak seasons.
  • Finance Partnership: Manage accounts receivable and resolve billing issues while adhering to the company's credit policies.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, balancing customer needs and company goals.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct business reviews with key customers, identifying opportunities to drive performance and growth.
  • P&L Ownership: Take full responsibility for the profit and loss of assigned segments, continuously optimizing processes for better performance.
  • Special Projects: Lead ad hoc assignments and special projects to address evolving business needs.

 

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in FMCG, with a focus on HORECA, General Trade, or Wholesale/Distributor sectors.
  • Proven track record in account management, account acquisition, and distributor management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in sales data and market insights.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Own transport (car) and a valid Class 3 driving license.
