Production Manager - #1090243

Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure production of high-quality equipment and modular assemblies. 
• Collaborate with Production Planner to develop and implement production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Allocate resources (manpower, machinery, materials) to optimize efficiency.
• Monitor production performance metrics and adjust or create workflows as needed.
• Appoint trainers to supervise, train, and mentor production staff, including supervisors and operators working on different projects.
• Conduct performance reviews and address staff issues promptly.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure production processes comply with quality standards and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to address non-conformities and resolve customer feedback/complaints.
• Implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce defects.
• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and delegate trainers to perform safety training sessions for staff.
• Investigate and resolve any incidents or accidents promptly.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
• Evaluate production equipment performance and coordinate maintenance schedules.
• Monitor and control production costs to ensure adherence to budgets, including overtime planning and approvals.
• Analyze operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and present production reports and forecasts to senior management.
• Coordinate with production material planning and logistics teams to maintain smooth production flow.
• Work with NPI and engineering teams to resolve production challenges.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to long-term manufacturing goals.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in industrial / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing or production management role, preferably in equipment manufacturing or modular assemblies.
• Proficiency in manufacturing software (e.g., ERP/MRP systems).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams.
• Adaptable to a dynamic production environment.

• Working Hours : 8.15am to 5.30pm (Mon-Fri)
• Location : Changi North
• Company Bus : Pick up at Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, Hougang, Punggol, Pasir Ris, Bedok, Tampines MRT/Interchanges
