About the role

Jin Gang Electric Heaters Mfy Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Woodlands  Spectrum 1 building. As a Fabrication Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the production of our customized industrial oven, ensuring efficient and effective operations. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to the success of our growing manufacturing business.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the work of a team of fabricators to ensure timely and quality production of electric heaters
• Monitoring production processes and identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Providing hands-on guidance and technical support to the fabrication team to maintain high standards of workmanship
• Liaising with other departments, such as sales and purvchasing, to ensure seamless integration of operations
• Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Providing recommendations to management
• Assisting with the training and development of fabrication team members

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, equipment, and materials used in the production of industrial oven.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and find practical solutions
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Effective communication and leadership skills to manage and motivate a team
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
• Commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process enhancements.
