Underwriting Support Assistant (Insurance, East) - #1090202

Location: Central

Working Hours: Mon – Fri: 9am – 6pm

Salary: Up to $3,000 per month 

Duration: 12 months contract

Job Description: 

• Process billings, collections, payments & refunds policy premiums.
• Process medical billings & tracking medical reports.
• Registration/verification/amendment of new proposal submissions.
• Ensure department KPIs are achieved for policy delivery and processing.
• Policy documents checking & despatching.
• Other duties include (but not limited to), back-up duties during team member’s absence and other ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Ad-hoc projects assigned to support business operations.
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Requirements: 

• Diploma/Degree - preferably with 1-3 years’ admin experience in Life Insurance.
• Good team player with an eye to details & ability to work under pressure.
• Good problem solving & interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy with good working knowledge of MS Office (eg Excel, Word) applications.
• Singaporeans only.
