Senior Operations Executive (Logistics / Government Sector) - #1090200

Our client has been in the supply chain business, serving the defence & government sectors, as well as commercial industries. The company offers end-to-end, integrated, and secured logistics services including sourcing and procurement, ordering and inventory control, acceptance and quality control.

What you'll do:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the company and ensuring compliance with government regulations and policies
Lead and supervise a team of employees, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize operations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of activities and efficient use of resources
Maintain accurate records and reports of operations, including financial and administrative data
Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner

Qualifications:

• At least Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations management 
• Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and driving performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and employees
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
