About the role

Vico Construction Pte Ltd, a Singapore A1 construction company, is seeking an exceptional Project Engineer to join its team. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in the delivery of HDBBTO projects in the Ang Mo Kio North-East Region. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of project execution, ensuring the successful completion of each endeavour.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans and schedules
• Coordinating and supervising the work of contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks, implementing appropriate control measures, and troubleshooting issues that arise during the construction process
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations
• Conducting regular site inspections and providing progress reports to project stakeholders
• Collaborating with the design team to resolve technical challenges and optimise construction methods
• Providing technical support and mentorship to junior members of the project team

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Singapore IES / BCA and PE Board is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or a similar role within the construction industry.Experience in HDBBTO Projects is preferred.
• Good track records & working experience with local A1 / A2 main contractors is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in project management software, CAD, and other relevant technical tools
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety
