We're looking to add a Security Officer in Univac, Woodlands.

As a Security Officer, You will:

• Uphold security standards as set forth by the Company.
• Assist in review and update the Security Operating Procedure and Management System.
• Assist in reviewing current security practices and making recommendation to Supervisor for changes to implement for continuous improvement so as to suit business requirement.
• Assist Supervisor in security audits and inspection to reduce security risks and threats at site.
• Assist in ensuring proper documentation in the department for audit purpose.
• Assist to assess service providers continuously to ensure regular maintenance of on-site security facilities.
• Supervise a team of security guards, including but not limiting to timetable scheduling and assigning of duties, overtime preparation and submission for supervisor approval.
• Perform guard duties as and when required.
• To assist Supervisor in conducting investigation and reporting on security pertaining matters (if any).
• To assist Supervisor in coordinating Fire Drill exercises.
• To assist Supervisor in liaising with external government agencies visit.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company management.
 

What skills and experiences are we looking for :

• Secondary or GCE ‘O’ Levels
• A valid Security Officer License issued by Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Security Guard
• Good command of verbal and written English
• Able to work on rotating shift
