About the role

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the preparation and arrangement of funeral services, including setting up the funeral venue and ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are available
• Providing support to the funeral director and other team members throughout the funeral service to ensure a smooth and respectful experience for the bereaved family
• Transporting coffins and other funeral-related items as required
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the funeral venue and equipment
• Handling administrative tasks related to funeral arrangements, such as documentation and record-keeping
• Offering a compassionate and sensitive approach when interacting with grieving families
