Manager (WSH & Fire Safety), Operations Support Services

 Broad Function

• Develop and maintain a robust campus Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and Fire Safety system.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct training, audits, and incident reporting.
• Collaborate with Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) on campus Fire Safety programme.
• Maintain operational safety and a safe campus environment. 

Responsibilities

• Ensure WSH compliance and licensing framework with stakeholders.
• Manage hazardous substances storage and safety (NEA/SCDF/SPF).
• Implement workplace safety management (MOM guidelines).
• Develop and sustain WSH and Fire Safety systems, including training and audits.
• Collaborate with FSM on Fire Safety Programme.
• Coordinate Workplace and Fire Safety Committee.
• Review safety incidents and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure contractors' compliance with WH House Rules and Permit-To-Work process. 

Job Requirement

• Recognized Degree.
• 4 years of related working experience, with 2 years relevant experience in maintaining organizational WSH system for Assistant Manager position.
• 5 years of related working experience, with 3 years relevant experience in leading and maintaining organizational WSH and Fire Safety system for Manager position.
• Working closely with diverse groups of stakeholders to ensure both operational and regulatory requirements are met.
• Experience in supporting and maintaining organizational fire safety programme.
• Experience is analysing safety data and trends, able to provide practical recommendations.   
• MOM Licensed Workplace Safety & Health Officer
• SCDF Certified Senior/Fire Safety Manager
• NEA Licensed Environmental Control Officer (Preferred)
