Senior / Engineering Assistant (Logistic & Automation), Facilities Management (2 Year Contract)

Reports to: Engineer
Broad Function

• Assist in managing FM services for logistic & automation systems and non-clinical equipment.
• Support maintenance, modification, and replacement activities.
• Monitor and audit KPIs of specialist vendors and outsourced maintenance service providers.
• Support cyclical and improvement projects.

Equipment scope includes:
 

• Pneumatic Tube System (PTS)
• Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)
• Pneumatic Waste & Linen Chute System (PWLCS)
• Food Waste Treatment and Vacuum System (FWTVS)
• Centralised Sterilised Supplies Department Equipment
• Food Services Department Equipment
• Mobile equipment

Responsibilities 
 

• Assist in managing FM services, including operation, maintenance, and modification of logistic and automation systems.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling and coordination.
• Manage maintenance agents' day-to-day work for logistics and automated systems.
• Ensure prompt service recovery for equipment breakdowns.
• Assist in overseeing improvement projects and upgrades to systems and equipment.

Job Requirements:
 

• Diploma or Higher Nitec/Nitec in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automation Engineering.
• Prior experience with design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical/mechanical/mechatronics/automation systems.
• Conversant in reading and interpreting architectural and M&E schematic drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
