Senior/ Engineer (Electrical), Facilities Management
Reports to: Senior Manager (Electrical)

JOB PURPOSE

• Assist in managing Electrical FM services
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and modification of electrical systems and non-clinical equipment
• Audit and monitor KPIs of maintenance services
• Support cyclical and improvement projects
• Implement and manage projects as necessary

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing maintenance contracts for electrical systems such as High-Tension Panels, LV Main Switchboard, Emergency Main Switchboards, Transformers, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), Generators, all Sub-boards/Emergency Sub-boards and etc.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling. Manage Maintenance Agent or Specialist Contractor day-to-day works for electrical system such as High Tension Panels, LV Main Switchboard, Emergency Main Switchboards, Transformers, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), Generators, all Sub-boards/Emergency Sub-boards and etc.
• Manage Maintenance Agents/Contractors for electrical systems.
• Ensure prompt service recovery for equipment breakdowns.
• Assist in coordinating improvement projects and upgrades.
• Provide advisory and support for maintenance team.
• Prepare technical specifications and drawings for system improvements.
• Lead and guide Engineering Assistant on day-to-day tasks.
• Oversee outsourced maintenance team's safety practices.
• Ensure prompt service recovery for equipment breakdowns.
• Lead and guide Engineering Assistant.
• Perform duties as assigned by HOD.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-4 years of experience or Diploma with at least 5-9 years’ Electrical system experience for Engineer position.
• At least 5 years of experience or Diploma with at least 10 years’ Electrical system experience for Senior Engineer position.
• Have prior experience with design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems & equipment will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in management of electrical services and facilities operation as well as improvement projects will be an advantage.
• Conversant in reading and interpreting architectural and M&E schematic drawings.
• Conversant in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Ability to use 3D perspective drawing software such as BIM will be an added advantage.
