Service Advisor (Automotive) - #1089918

Job Summary:

The Service Advisor (IU/OBU) serves as the key liaison between customers, technicians, and Customer Service Officers (CSO) to ensure a smooth and professional service experience related to IU (In-Vehicle Unit) and OBU (On-Board Unit) installation and inspections. The role requires excellent communication, coordination, and a strong understanding of OBU procedures and requirements.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Advisory

1. Attend and guide customers through the registration process when they visit the Care Centre for IU/OBU inspections or installations.
2.  Professionally advise and explain the available options to customers regarding their IU/OBU installation or inspection.
3. Ensure customers understand the process, requirements, and costs (if applicable).
4. Work closely with technicians and CSO, ensuring the correct information is conveyed to customers.
5. Understand the IU/OBU installation procedures and requirements to assist customers efficiently.
6. Report any difficult situations, escalations, or technical issues to the Technician Lead / Supervisor for resolution.
7. Keep up to date with new procedures, policy changes, and guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Strong customer service and communication skills.
2. Ability to handle difficult situations professionally and provide clear explanations.
3. Experience as a Service Advisor in IU/OBU services is an advantage.

Work Hours:

• Monday to Saturday (5.5-day work week)
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Work place either at 249 Jalan Boon Lay or 302 Sin Ming Road - please specify preference

Employment type: 12 months contract
