Deputy Manager – (Contracts Management) Approx 2-years contract 

The deputy manager coordinates projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, the deputy manager will serve as a liaison between SUTD and funding agencies, as well as SUTD faculty, facilitating various platforms and networks for collaboration and project implementation. The deputy manager also support the related activities such as outreach, demo visits and management meetings etc.

 Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement strategies and initiatives for industry engagement and development of new sub-projects
• Perform marketing and outreach activities to educational organizations, industry and agencies.
• Identify and promote funding and collaboration opportunities to facilitate formation of sub-projects
• Work closely with SUTD faculty, researchers, funding agencies on matters pertaining to industry collaboration projects, including but not limited to agreements and contract negotiations
• Manage and monitor the project budget
• Monitor and track the key performance indicators of all sub-projects
• Co-ordinate project report submissions for funding agencies
• Manage and monitor all projects and budget
• Assist and support the management team in regular reporting of progress for all sub-projects 

 Skills / Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2-3 years of working experience in an outreach role 
• Experience in account management including relationship building, interpersonal skills, negotiation and networking experience with industry
• Experience in project and event management
• Demonstrate interest in STEM research developments
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and in teams
