Job description:
- Collaborate with the Director and Project Team to address and resolve contractual disputes, ensuring timely resolution in compliance with contractual requirements.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project needs effectively.
- Oversee project planning and execution, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and manpower.
- Facilitate coordination and communication among various disciplines and personnel involved in the project.
- Assist in managing and administering the main contract.
- Handle all aspects of quantity surveying (QS) work, including valuation, submission of variation claims, budgeting, cash flow management, cost control, claims processing, contract payments, and final account settlements, while working closely with the procurement team.
- Support the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Conduct cost estimation and analysis for tender submissions.
- Offer guidance on contractual claims and procurement strategies.
- Evaluate project outcomes and prepare comprehensive progress reports.
- Assess completed work and submit progress claims.
- Monitor and track project variations that may impact costs.
- Perform cost analysis for repair and maintenance works.
- Compile and submit catalogues and sample boards.
- Carry out other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
Job Requirement:
- Possess a Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field from a recognized university.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in residential and industrial projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
- Well-versed in Singapore's health and safety regulations.
- Proficient in using software tools for costing and budgeting.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and adaptable to changing environments.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude and strong commitment to the role.
