RMA Engineer, PSD, Mobility Rail (SCDS/CH) - #1089843

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled RMA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PCB repair, troubleshooting, signal verification, with a solid understanding of various test equipment, including oscilloscopes and collaborating with engineering and R&D teams to resolve technical issues. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our electronic systems with proper documentation. Experience with RMA processes is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• PCB Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faulty PCBs, including multi-layer designs, ensuring all components function correctly.
• Signal Verification & Testing: Use test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters) to perform signal verification and analyse waveforms.
• Equipment Operation: Operate diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes and function generators for troubleshooting.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work with engineering teams to resolve issues and improve designs, providing feedback on improvements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, troubleshooting steps, and test results.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• Experience: 3-5 years in PCB repair, troubleshooting, and signal verification; fresh graduates with relevant experience are also encouraged.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters), troubleshooting both analog and digital circuits, soldering, and rework on PCBs with proper documentation.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of DC motor control systems (brushed and brushless), microcontroller systems, serial communications (UART, SPI, I2C), Ethernet and CAN bus protocols.
