Programme Executive (Intervention Programme for Offenders) - #1089736

Job Summary

We are looking for a Programme Executive to support the delivery of intervention programmes aimed at helping offenders reintegrate back into society. The successful candidate will be primarily involved in programme coordination / training support and co-facilitation of group sessions.

Ex-offenders who have stayed offence-free (i.e. desistors) for at least 5 years are strongly preferred.

Scope of Work:

A. Programme Coordination & Training Support

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for the scheduling of workshop sessions (including rescheduling and cancellations)
• Prepare all relevant training materials ahead of each session
• Ensure timely and accurate capture / submission of relevant participant data and inputs (e.g. progress reports, relapse prevention plans, etc.)
• Ensure learner completion of feedback survey at the end of each session 
• Consolidate workshop feedback surveys for analysis, continuous improvement and reporting
• Update workshop attendance for tracking and billing purposes
• Provide support with other workshop-related logistics and administration as required (e.g. printing of materials, procurement of props, etc.)
• Maintain accurate and confidential client data in compliance with AKG / project requirements
• Maintain excellent professional relationships with participants and key stakeholders at all times

B. Co-facilitation

• Assist trainers with group-based intervention sessions as a co-facilitator
• Enhance participant motivation towards change and equip them with knowledge and skills in managing challenges faced in the community
• Share from personal life experiences and provide encouragement to participants as they navigate reintegration into society 

Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

• Passionate about working with ex-offenders and helping them successfully reintegrate into society 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Conversant in at least one other local language other than English (i.e. Malay, Tamil, and Mandarin) 
• An organised and effective planner with an eye for detail
• Willing and capable of learning and delivering AKG’s suite of training programmes using provided course materials 
• Ability to demonstrate empathy and respect when working with people from diverse backgrounds
• Adhere to all AKG values and represent our business in a professional manner at all times 
• Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of applications

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of training coordination or administrative experience
• Have at least 1 year of experience facilitating group counselling
• Have at least 1 year of experience working with youths aged 16 to 21 or participants requiring addiction counselling 
• Desistors are strongly preferred [Critical: Must have stayed offence-free for at least 5 years]
