Primary Objectives of Position
To support Head, Benefits to administer rewards, employee welfare and benefits, and engagement programmes in accordance to statutory/legislative, business unit and Group rules and policies
This holder of this position will provide support to one or more business units as assigned. The business units assigned are subject to change and the holder will be informed accordingly of such changes by Head, Benefits or Head, Performance & Rewards SBST
Primary Responsibilities
Support in HR policy reviews and ensure policy updates are updated and/or published in required HR materials and electronic portals/knowledge depositories, and assist in creation and updating of the standard operating procedures for the Benefits team
Lead and guide team members to administer policies and procedures for staff benefits in accordance to prevailing policies and procedures, and provide guidance and clarifications on enquiries from internal and external parties on employee benefits matters
Conduct periodic audits for compliance to policies and procedures
Lead/support in any automation and digitalization projects or initiatives to enhance employee experience and engagement
Plan, organize and execute employee recognition and milestone events (e.g. retirement ceremonies, long service award ceremony, promotion ceremony) and celebratory meal provisions for special employee occasions
Lead/support the employee benefits and health promotion programmes (e.g. Total Workplace Safety and Health, Mental Wellness, etc.)
Management of exception cases for leave and medical matters
Liaise with insurance broker/insurers on medical and insurance matters, manage dependents enrolment for medical schemes and provide support and guidance on medical and insurance administration (e.g. death benefits, long term illness, official overseas travel)
Oversee the administration of employee/free travel pass programme
Track trends, prepare and provide analysis of benefits related reports
Any other tasks as assigned
Job requirement
Degree in any field with 7 to 8 years of experiences in Human Resource, Benefits
Sound working knowledge of the Employment Act, Child Development Co-Savings Act, and Work Injury Compensation Act.
Digitally savvy with intermediate competence in MS Office suite
Good written communication in English
