Job Description:
Our client is a Japan-listed company specializing in managed IT services, with subsidiaries in M&E engineering, ICT infrastructure, and supply chain technologies, is seeking a Japanese-speaking Service Delivery Manager to handle their Japanese speaking clients.
- Communicate with local carriers and vendors to collect necessary information and implement necessary requests and respond to customers based in Japan and worldwide outside Japan.
- Prepare report in written Japanese & English form, with content understandable by the stakeholders (via email, documents, or written report).
- Align the understandings and requests which are received from customer’s Project Manager/Service Manager.
- Coordinate between the carrier and vendor with strong service standard.
- Negotiates with local customers, carriers and vendors based on an understanding of the contents of the contract with stakeholders and the service specifications provided (negotiation partners are not limited to APAC, but may be Westerners).
- Negotiations with local customers, carriers, and vendors should be conducted within the scope agreed upon in advance with the customer’s Project Manager/Service Manager.
- Follow the instructions of the customer’s Project Manager/Service Manager and the Legal Department when negotiating potential litigation risks.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision when tasks are assigned.
- Any other ad-hoc assigned by superior.
Job Requirements:
- At lease minimum of 4 years' experience in similar industries and job scope.
- Ability to understand non-verbal communication and cultural context as well as language skills
- Ability to communicate using documents as well as verbal bases, emails, and chats (to be able to think of ways to communicate with others).
- Problem-solving ability
- Strong flexible problem-solving skills (creative thinking, prompt decision-making, and flexible response)
- Able to solve problems logically and with an understanding of customer and project expectations
- Able to travel overseas when required (SEA region)
