Air Procurement Manager | Pasir Panjang | Up to $8,000 - #1089624

Location: Pasir Panjang

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 830am to 530pm

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing, identifying and assessing the Airfreight Vendors / Carriers performance ensure cost-efficiency, service quality and ability to deliver. 
• Build and maintain strategic long-term partnerships with LSPs (Logistic Service Providers) and Airlines in order to consistently get cost-efficient and favourable rates and quality services standard from them. 
• Regular engagement with carriers / LSPs throughout the procurement process, which includes RFQ biddings with them to secure best rates in pricing and logistic space for cost-efficiency 
• Working closely with internal stakeholders and department (Eg Operations and Innovation Department) to develop new cost-efficient Airfreight solutions / products to existing and new clients to optimize the procurement processes in alignment with business goals. 
• Manage contract administration which include negotiation of rates, service delivery commitments and discussion of performance metrics. 
• Main PIC between company and LSPs 
• Stay updated on the latest Airfreight logistics market trends and provide recommendations to company management to optimize Airfreight procurement sourcing strategies

Requirements:

• Degree in Business / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or related disciplines 
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of related working experience in a global freight forwarding company 
• Good experience in negotiating with airlines and LSPs 
• Good understanding of international air cargo regulations, including customs, security, and environmental standards 
• Strong understanding of airfreight operations, capacity management, and cost structures 
• Great communication and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external vendors
• Good negotiation skills 
• Proficient in data analysis to support decision-making. 
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
